Bottle, gusher. Huge frothy head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are dominated by carbonation, yeast, malt, fruits and hops. Way too carbonated.

Another Carrefour find, this time served in the teku glass. This was a slow gusher and not so great looking, bizarre muddy gold?!?! Cool label of a cute woman and decent sub-2€ price. The aroma is bready, tomato-pesto spices, honey and unmalted wheat. Light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The taste is bready grainy sweet honey with a dab of fruitiness in the finish. This is a weak half-assed beer.

(Bottle, Brasserie Lombard, Brussels, 22 Oct 2014) Dark golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, malty nose with bread, grass, citrus and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, peaches, grainy malt and a grassy bitterness in a dry finish with a touch of lemon. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Aftertaste: soft bitterness, some grapefruit, brett, bit sourish, funky, some dairy.

Bottle bought in Brussels, October 2014. A bit hazy golden/light brownish with a small head. Sweet with malt, "candy", some dried fruit and yeast. The bitterness was light. Not my kind of beer.

One of several "new generation" Sainte-Hélène beers, actually the old Sainte-Hélène Blonde (also tasted under that name) with a new label; a blonde session ale with thick mousse-like, yellowish white head and light peach blonde colour with tiny yeast particles floating around everywhere. Aroma of orange peel, vanilla, pineapple, straw, flowers, lime, yeast. Citrussy freshness in the mouth, fruity, rounded and slick mouthfeel, yeasty, malt sweetness with pretty strong hop bitterness, grapefruity and long, with a sourish touch in the finish possibly coming from the carbonation.

At GBBF 2014. Hazy dirty gold lasting cream head. Some malt some dryness. Nutty cereal wheat field thing.
