Bottle collected from the brewery and shared at CBC clerko. Hazed golden Straw coloured pour with a big ol’ white head. Aroma is grassy lemon hop with some hot fussel alcohol. Flavour is straw, wheat, cereal. Hop is a bit grassy. Belgian triple type yeast esters. some headache hot alcohols in the flavour. High carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy pale gold with a thick foamy white head. The nose is apple, pear, hay, dough, spice, straw and mild smoke. The taste is crisp, straw, doughy, grass, pear drops, apple, light tartness, sherbet and decent bitterness with a dry, finish. Hides alcohol pretty well. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Alright.

Unclear golden colour, white head, brown depot. Aroma of citrus, lemon peel, orange peel and Belgian yeast. Sweet malty flavour, light sour touch, some citrus. Light bitter flavour, orange peel and lemon. If it’s called Triple Hop, I would have liked to experience some hops. At least, more than in a normal Belgian Strong Ale.

Sampled bottle @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2013. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is malty, sweet spices & thick yeast. Taste is dominated a bit by white bread, BE-style yeast, bitter spices, malty, bitter herbs, caramel & light floral bitterness. Body is dominated by yeast. Not a big fan of this one – it is like of those BE beers where it is stated that they are triple hoppy and you get basically almost no hops, virtually nothing more than a regular BE beers. Stout out even worse amongst a whole bunch of actually hoppy beers. Meh.

75cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Lightly unclear yellow orange color, medium sized white to off-white head that leaves a decent lacing. Smell malts, some sweetness, some fruit peel. Tastes quite similar: some malts, fruitpeel, ok bitter. It’s a fruitpeel-bitter though, imo you don’t get a lot of hops if any. Not clearly in the taste nor aroma. There might be three different hops in it but the hops used don’t really appeal to me. I don’t taste em.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy yellow to orange colour, big white head. Smells fruity, malts, green twigs. Tastes malty, sweet, hops, green twigs, fresh, some iron and a bit sharp. Too much carbo, full body.
