Can at home. Semi clear golden pour with a thick, dense head. Nose is pale malts, bread, hay, light citric notes, a herbal touch. Taste is nicely balanced between bitter and sweet, opening with the latter and showing bready malts, hay and some honey and then the finish is moderately bitter, showcasing grassy and herbal notes. Light bodied but flavourful, with an average to high carbonation.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, hay, grassy hops, straw, yeast, bit sulphury, touch of weeds. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a sharp bitterness. Body is medium. Tasty Zoigl, bitter favour is a bit on the harsh side though.

Аромат с хмелевым тоном, при этом весьма сильно ощущается нотки от трав различных, одна из них даже напоминает пыльцу и схоже на запах гвоздики со сладкой ноткой, при этом солод тоже на месте с зерном. Цвет глубокий, темно коричневый, пенка небольшая. Вкус слишком горький как по мне, много хмеля континентального, и из за этого падает глубина ноток от трав. При глотке есть травянистость, сладкая нотка почти упала. В целом интересно, но на один раз.

Deep gold with a white head. Toasted cereal grain and some snappy hops. Light fruit. Medium bodied. Really dig this.

Can. LLBH. Hazed medium gold. Beautifully sticky, lasting, shiny white froth. Nailed on 5 for appearance. Nose has light spicy malt. Hint of tof fee. Aged hop vibe on it. Sweet cereal. Taste is fairly sweet with a decent hit of grass mulch bitterness. Smooth with plenty of body. Natural feeling carbonation. Lingering spicy bitterness to finish. Tasty gear for sure.

440 ml can. Pour cloudy orange, creamy head. Zesty citrussy notes of grapefruit and tangerine, yeasty, bready, grassy hopppy notes, slightly metallic. Dry zesty bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Nice Zoigl interpretation, very smooth yet crisp and complex.

Can fresh from the brewery webshop. Lightly golden orange, slight haze, medium to short lived head. Nose is fantastic: bready grain, a bit of sweetness, aromatic fruity & earthy hops. Flavor has a touch of caramel, lots of grain and then a powerful and lasting citrus/earthy hop bitterness, touch o' grapefruit. Skews a bit on the bitter side of traditional Zwickel IMO but very modern in that regard.
