Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Amber orange colour, bit cloudy, big beige yellow creamy head. Aroma is jammy, lots of maltiness, slight savoury/vegetable sourness, fruity strawberry. Taste is rich, sweet and fruity. Lots of malt and grain, bit of pear, that vegetable thing again, touch of cream, and towards the end, just a hint of milky coffee. Strange and nice.

375ml swing top bottle from Das Alpenhaus. Dark amber, murky, huge rocky head. Bottle opens with a pop and a gush. A bit if sediment too. Aroma is initially tart, grainy , clove, bubblegum. Taste takes a turn towards sour, then sweetish weizen Flavors.

Draft at Churchkey thanks to solidfunk. Poured a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma had some banana, not a lot of cloves. Wheat. Aroma was a hay, floral character.

An easy drinking and good beer but not among my favorite weizenbocks. At this price I won’t be indulging in another one. Pours hazy amber with OK head and lacing. Some citrus and light booze. Florals. Hint of oak. Tap at Churchkey.

Bottle: Poured a light clear brown color bock with a medium size off-white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of tart and hoppy notes with quite strong floral coffee aromas. Taste is unique mixes of tart notes mix in with dry hoppy notes with some floral coffee notes with light dry bitterness. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very unique mix of flavours but not sure I would feel the need to drink this again.

750ml bottle. Murky dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity and minimally herbal hoppy aroma, hints of berries, old red apple and peach. Taste is fruity, minimally wheaty, hints of yellow stone fruit, mirabelle and the like, subtle sweetness, a minimal tart touch, bitter and slightly herbal hoppy overtones; dry finish with a touch of coffee, fine pored carbonation. Relatively light and hoppy, neither overly wheaty nor creamy.
