Flaska från Bierothek. Bärnstensfärgad vätska med medelhögt fluffigt skum. Stor kropp, söt, harmonisk och inte alls spritig. Brödiga smaker, fruktig sötma, lätt kryddig beska. En riktigt bra bock som värmer och lite kylig svensk sommardag vid grillen.

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before September 2025. Clear, dark mahogany with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter and a bit roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts, burnt bread crust and toasted grains, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Bock, quite roasty and not too sweet, a bit monotonous and plain though.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish dark malt, caramel, dried dark fruits, raisins, dark bread, some brown sugar. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium but a bit weak. A bit dull sweetish Bock.

# 3976; 12/2023. Nice caramel and fruity flavor, dried fruits, raisin. Brilliant deep copper to pale brown body; beige head. Dried fruits, plum, raisin, herbal, slightly black currant; light alcohol warmth. Very good dunkel doppelbock. 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Hüttlingen (Swabia, Germany).

Dark brown with an off-white head. Nutty malty aroma. Sweet taste with a full low-bitter finish. Nice one.

Engel Bock dunkel, 7,2 %, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Dunkles Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase breitere aber etwas matte dunkle Malzsüße, Zuckerrübensirup, Erdbeerkonfitüre, blasser herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk breit und auch einigermaßen tief dunkelmalzig mit Melanoidinen, fruchtiger Süße und eigenartig holziger Herbe, an die man sich jedoch gewöhnt. Sirupartige Restsüße. Nur schwache, an Kräuterzucker erinnernde Hopfung. Gut rezent, nicht so vollmundig wie erwartet. Schwacher Abgang mit dunkler Malzbittere und leichten holzig-herben Zügen. - Ein dunkler Bock mit eigenartigen Fehlaromen, nur blaß gehopft und etwas dünn. Schmeckt besser, wenn man die überschüssige Kohlensäure herausschüttelt. (27.1.2021.)

500ml bottle [7.2% abv]. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grainy, strawy, minimally bready, malty aroma, hints of spelt, a touch of rye bread, pumpernickel, waxy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally dry, sweet-ish, grainy, bready malty, a touch of treacle, pumpernickel, metallic overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, fien and soft carbonation. More dark coloured than convincingly dark malty, thin and watery, waxy and metallic off-flavours - definitely not good.
