750ml bottle. Not super chocolate forward, quite mild, distant. Chili peppers are the same, but have a little more presence, giving some mild heat in the finish, sort of replacing a hop balance. Great mouthfeel, medium bodied. Some wheaty tart funk, big "Belgian" aroma. Overall kind of and odd, earthy, funky creature. Not really chocolate flavored, which is OK.

750ml bottle with a good inch of sediment in the bottle, poured into my Duvel tulip. Hazy golden pour with a big thick stick white head that is really sticking to the sides of my glass. As soon as I popped the cork i got a big whiff of funk! The aroma is littered with sour funk, sour apples, and that textboox peppery/spiciness you get in a saison, and if you really look for it, i can get a hint of bitter bakers chocolate. The flavour is quite sour, lots of fruit, apples, grapes, and in the finish i’m getting some dry bitter chocolate. There is a touch of chocolate in the aftertatse along with a nice tartness. Overall, a pretty complex saison, I’m not detecting any chili pepper though.

Аромат солодовый в основе. Нотки какао бобов и кофе от зерен, но очень на тоненького все, возможно немного каких то овощей, нотка хмеля европейского. Цвет более менее золотой, пенка тоже хорошая, белая но мыльная. Вкус мне тоже порадовал. Совсем немного перчика или других каких то овощей. Во основе тоже солод как и в аромате. Послевкусие с легким оттенком кофе бобов, кислинка. Очень сильная карбонизация, так что не питкое, плюс иногда алкашка выпирает.В целом интересный экземпляр, как и всегда у Fantome.

Bottle with cork 0,75ltr: Hazy amber colored beer with an fruity dry bitter taste. Hints of fruits, spices and slightly burning pepper.

Draft at The Sovereign. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light yeasty funk, earthy notes. Really didn't capture a lot of cocoa or chili heat. Tasty, but missing the two things I was really looking forward to in this one.
