Flaska från Saveur Bieré. Smak och doft av humle, karamell, malt, lätt rökighet, jord, tobak, trä med toner av övermogna päron och torkad frukt. Fina smaker men i viss obalans, lagom sötma, rund och len, beska med smak av citrusskal och rökig fruktsmak.

12oz bottle at IL Santo Bevitore pours a deep amber red with a ring of white head. Nose has hints of earthy smoke, apple cores, some tobacco leaf, a little rubber, red pears. Flavor follows, some rubber and industrial notes, a little hickory, some beef jerky, rotting crab apple, maybe even some ancho.. Dry, lightly peppery finish. Seems crazy, but it worked.

0,33L bottle (from Drink Shop, Tallinn), BB 04.11.17. Pours red amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is malt, smoke, caramel, some sweetness. Flavor is sweet, smoke, malt, peat. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: ok brew.

Bottled@Pub Winston Festival. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is leather, some ripe fruits as well as some wooden and mildly nutty notes. Flavour is pleasantly leathery along with sweet malts, some floral and wooden notes. Tasty and quite refreshing brew.

Ambrato carico quasi nocciola schiuma abbondante media persistenza naso piacevolmente torbato in bocca un po scombinata tea malto torbaro tostature troppo gassata amaro medio leggero diacetile

Bottle 0.33l at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. BBE 02 2016. Colour is light brown with small thick slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark fruits, raisins, nuts, some sweetness, spices and malts. Not bad.

Draught at Tre Små Rum on December 11, 2012Clear brown color, tan head. Sweet, sirup, fresh, juniper, julmust, cola drink, toffee scent. Sweet, malty, dried fruits, applesauce, alcohol taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Slight bit phenolic aftertaste.

Draft @ Brassigaume 2012. Light reddish amber with a tanned head. Smells of sweet herbs, syrup, caramel malts and dried fruits. Taste is lightly bitter with some cough syrup, herbs, spices, orange peel, touch sweet, light citrus, raisins and ark fruits. Medium bodied – okay / not bad stuff.

Draft @ Brassigaume 2012. Brune/cuivrée sur une certaine opacité, col crémeux beige. Arôme est léger caramel, malté avec un houblonnage bien présent. Qcq notes de fruits noirs. Palais est léger avec un profile sucré/brun, malt caramel avec un côté fruité rouge/noir. Possible touche malté rappelant un fumé juste en retrait. Le tout reste épais avec une levure restant présente, pointe houblonné rajoutant des notes citronnées. Fini est résineux, fruits noirs et floral yum. Reste dans l’idée de scotch ale avec pour moi des houblons nettement plus en avant sans pour cela dénaturer la bière. Sympa.
