Bottled 250ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!)
Murky amber/brown coloured, small to medium sized pale brown head, malty and slight fruity nose. Sweet malty, herbal hoppy and mild fruity with notes of brown sugar. Short dry finish, a bit too sweet beer.

Bottle purchased somewhere in Ieper/Ypres. An off white head that went away at a medium pace perched on top of a hazy dark amber-red body. Malty, rosehip jam malty nose. Slightly sourish dry malty taste, peppery hop, again some rosehip jam. Sourish aftertaste. Odd, drying, not too "Belgian".

(bottle, 25cl) Hazy, ruby brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Slightly yeasty toast-malty aroma with notes of liquorice, toffee and a tinge of mocha in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a sparkling carbonation. A bit slim toasty malty base with notes of caramel/toffee, shades of fruitiness and coffee; moderately dry, bitter-sweet and slightly toasted and spicy finish. 18.I.11

25cl Bottle, bought at Brugs Beer Festival 2009. Clear brown colour, fizzy off white head. Aroma of burnt sugar, metal, some fruits, malts, plastic. Flavour is sweet, malty, dark fruits, chocolate, plastic, metal, metallic bittersweet finish. Light bodied. Not undrinkable, just not good. To put it gently: I’m not impressed by this brewery at all.

Bottle from Biere Temple in Brussels. Pours brown with a foamy beige head. Lightly roasted caramel aroma. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is mildly spicely, lightly hoppy, but it tends to have a strong flavor impact. Nothing exciting, but certainly acceptable when ale is required. Which is all the time. If I was stuck with this on a desert isle, I would not drown myself in dispair. But I wouldn’t have put it on the boat deliberately.

ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours cola brown, clear and with a dense light off-white head. Light roasted, mild caramel and slight spiced. Oldish malt and slight fruity. Ends dull fruity and light malty. Seems light oxidiced.
