Creamy, malty, and full-bodied, the Sierra Nevada Stout is satisfyingly rich. Caramel and Black malts give the Stout its deep, dark color and pronounced roasted flavor.

Bottle, danke vielmals Günther! Darkest brown, low tanned cream. Flowery hop on honeyish malt nose. Medium to full, sweet roast body, plenty of perfume and honey, chocolate roast, light salt, coffee retronasal. Intense flavors, maybe not always pulling in the same direction.

Bottle, 0.355l. Black pour, one finger frothy beige head. Good retention, lasting head that leaves slight lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, roasty, subtle forest fruit notes, lingering coffee in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, slightly lightweight, mild chewiness to it, soft. Easily drinkable. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and cocoa. Forest fruits, raisins. Mild syrupy, subtle lingering alcohol. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry. Easily drinkable and nicely balanced stout.

Bottle from an online shop. It's a nice dark dark pour with a tall, fine-bubbled head when poured from a decent height. Bitterness and dark coffee-like roast notes hit the nose with a bit of malty sweet background. Flavor is a great balance of malty body, moving to mild bitterness, and finishing with lingering chocolate malt notes and a dark roast aftertaste. Yeah! That's a good stout.

Bottle: Literally black with a delicate ruby sheen, quite small but quite stable tanned foamy layer, relatively dry bitter-sweet roasty aroma with traces of dried fruits and presumably caramelly malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; sweet-bitter roasty and fruity-caramelly finish with an increasing dryness in the aftertaste. Pleasant! Reliable S.N. quality...
