Kerstpater heeft een diepe, donkerbruine kleur met een streepje rood. Het beige schuim verbergt warm alcoholzoet in een bier dat geurt naar chocolade, zoet van karamel en kandij. In de mond komt het kandijsuiker terug, aangenaam gecombineerd met chocoladebitter. De afdronk is lang en zalig zoet.

Classic Christmas ale with deep burgundy colour and thinnish, off-white head. Rich malty and estery aroma, yeasty, fruity with spicy notes, caramelly, chocolate accents, dried orange peel, brown rhum. Malty taste with full and creamy mouthfeel, sweet, candied cherries, port wine, cocoa hints, caramelly, smooth with retronasal spiciness, a toasted hint in the finish, some herbal hops and warming alcohol. Very enjoyable winter warmer, one of the best products of this brewery in my opinion, with good ageing potential too.

25/12/2014 @ home 33cl bottle from Prik en Tik. Dark brown with smalle tanned head. Aroma : burned malts, chocolate, caramel, spices. Taste : very good balance between malts, caramel, spices, light bitter, dry ending.

dark brown almost black color. fruity, malty smell, some cinnamon. smells fresh (carbonation). full bodied. body is very malty. malty sweet but also some hop bitterness. subtle light fruit notes, some cherry.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Liquorice, aniseed and dried fruit in the aroma. Tangy taste with liquorice, raisins, aniseed and a hint if cocoa.

Draught @ Fairbar, Århus. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, bread, chocolate, light spice. Flavor is sweet, malt, yeasty, sweet chocolate, x-mas spices, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with some warming alcohol. 221114

Donker bruin met rode gloed, met minimale kaki kraag. Aroma is caramoutig, chocolade. De smaken zijn redelijk zoet van de kandij suiker, matig bitter, licht fruitzuurtje, lichte rode kersen, licht zuurtje. Medium tot volle body, glad in de mond, laag co2, afdronk zoet.
