Can. Honey golden colour with a light white head. Oily on the palate with a slight bitter finish.

19/03 0.5 l can. It poured clear golden body with big head. Lemony and herbal hop in aroma, slightly honey malty. Dry herbal cardboard in its flavor, watery with note of metal. Very little honey malt here. Medium to thinner body with shorter finish that was mostly bitterish herbal cardboard. Typical macro German pils, boring as usual, although nothing too bad.

Can, 0.5l bought on that gas station where we got 3-4 more beers. Poured a darker yellow body with a big whtie head. Sweetish malty nose, some vegetables, quite typical but ok. Ok taste, some light piney, maybe dry lemony notes from the hop. Simple though, couldn’t call it watery, but hardly heavy. Tasty in a way, unspectacular as it is, above average among the pale lagers we’ve had in Germany. Light bitterish aftertaste, quite light. Ok.

50 cl bottle thanks to Alex and Rhonda!Marked 4.8% ABV, BB Feb 2010, tasted on October 27, 2009Clear pale golden color, big fluffy lasting white head. Malty, grainy, sweet, slight bit acidic, some caramel, bread like, also earthy hoppy bitter scent. Malty, sweet, sugar like, some vegetables, dryish bitter taste. Bitter and earthy hoppy aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. Dry bitter feeling after a while. Very drinkable, but not very interesting, fairly standard. Would be interesting if possible to try fresh on draught, preferable if found non-pasteurized.

Bottle 50cl. @ [ Ulfborg Tasting ].[ Alc. 4.8% ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, hay, toasted, cabbage water, cardboard notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090114]

500ml bottle from Real near Munchengladbach. Pale gold, rocky off white head. Bit yeasty on aroma. Some hop on end. That’s just a rather dull doring pils.

Clear goldenwith a large white head. Sweet malty aroma with hoppy notes. Sweet malty flavour flavour with caramel and hoppy notes that gave it a bitter finish.

Big offwhite shiny lasting head. Slightly pale yellow body. Fruity malty aroma with hoppy, mealy notes. Dry fruity malty lemony taste. Very soft and clean mouthfeel. Dry herbal lemony hop taste lingers. A bit chalky. Decent. (0.5l can.)

This pils poured a clear light yellow colour with a big brite white head. To the nose it smelt like the typical pilsner. Corn sweet malt and hopps. First taste was a bit sour at first with a sweet aftertaste. Suttle carbonation but way too boring. No difference than the rest, just too sweet and corn flavoured.
