Draught - a really interesting dark red color. Almost a bit of chocolate flavors. Alcohol camou’d pretty well.

Converting ticks to ratings. Had this in Januari '12, at Beer Temple. Amber beer, quite sweet, toffee, resin, oranges, hint of chocolate, raisins. Medium bodied. OK stuff.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass and a snifter.
There was barely any difference between the two glasses other than a longer lasting filmier looking head in the snifter.
The rest of the appearance was a hazy dark ruby red color with about a finger’s worth of white foaminess in the head. The lacing was filmy and clingy all around.
The smell had a decent caramel maltiness with a light raisin and raspberry. It kind of comes across somewhat tart but not in a bad way.
The taste was basically the same - slightly sweet, dark fruitiness and then tart again.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but nothing overbearing. Light tart to sweet rolls over my tongue.
Overall, this was an interesting American Strong Ale with the raisins and raspberries. I think I could do this again.

Bastante buena

7oz Bottle: Poured a coppery orange with a jello off white head. Sweet malts and yeast come forward in the aroma. Taste is malts, with fruit blend of raisin and citrus, very dry but sweet finish.

Hazy amber-red body. Intense malty aroma with alcoholic touches. Heavily bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Complex flavour. Very lovely.
