Tasted years ago from tap at the Brasseurs de la Grande Place in Brussels when they were still active; this was the best beer they had in my opinion, a hazy peach blonde, malt sweet, rather simple but soft, gentle and ’honest’ tripel with crisp hoppy finish.

Average and actually quite boring Belgian tripel. Fruity and yeasty, but a bit thin.

Draft sampled with ChinoSkillzian, t0rin0 and Womencantsail as part of the flight @ Brewpub. This one was the even less enjoyable than its brethren but the ratings ranking this one higher - comes to show something.... Pale golden with some white head. Sweet lemon juice, urinal cakes, candy and apple juice nose. Grains, metallic herbs, odd not really wanted ginger qualities, citrus, candy, apple juice with sugar. Lighter side of bodied to near medium - I have no idea what the other reviewers have been drinking but I do not feel like this is an average belgian beer quality-wise, I would not even dare to call this homebrew level because most homebrew I have tried has been pretty good made by people trying to put forward and succeeding in pretty good beers. Or am I spoiled?

Draft @ brewput. Dorée plus trouble que la blonde, col blanc fin. Arôme est houblonné assez douce, malt fruité et agrumes, le bouquet rappelle un clone de le Leffe. En bouche, profile abbaye et ici encore, Leffe me vient à l’esprit. Note fruitée abricot, un peu trop sucrée. Paraît plus être dans l’amateurisme.

On draught at Les Brasseurs in Brussels. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, spice and banana. Light body for a Tripel with flavors of sweet malt and yeast, spice and fruit. The finish is sweet and fruity. Slightly above average overall.

Fra fat på brewpuben 7 Mai 11. Gylden. Lavt kremaktig skum. Litt anonym aroma. Lett syrlig fruktsmak. Litt anonym - men god. Søtlig ettersmak.

On tap, sampled, 120ml, at the pub. Low white head to a clear, golden body. Fruity dry smell. Subdued fruity taste with lighter notes of grain. Bittersweet, short end. Clean in the mouth, but diluted impression on the swallow (Brussel, 07.05.2011).

Ziemlich kräuterartiger Antrunk, zu dem schnell ein Aroma von Zitronenmelisse stößt. Dadurch kurzzeitig spritzig, dann stört das Aroma, das Bier wirkt penetrant un alkoholisch. 8/6/6/5//5
