Dennoch: Mehr davon!

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Hazy amber beer. Tiny white head. Crisp light airy palate. Light caramel malt. Surprisingly light hop prescence. A little orange citrus and minerals. Softish semi dry finish. Was expecting a lot more hop wallop from this but it’s decent enough.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, hazy, smaller - slowly collapsing - white head; some delicate traces of the announced Cascade hops in the sweet grainy and bitter nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering piney-hoppy finish - hops sticking to the palate - balanced by some sweet malt. Not bad, but they should add more Cascade.....

Bottle. Wow - a German IPA. Sweet orange malt and pine hops aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with large white head. Sweet orange malt and mildly bitter pine hops flavor. Not nearly as hoppy as US IPAs - still pretty nice.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of apricots, citrus, lemon peel on a mildly sweet malty background, accompanied by peppery spicy notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Initially sweet malty, slightly biscuity taste, drying out a bit towards the still malt-accented, fruity and slightly spicy hoppy finish with an exotic fruity touch (passion fruits) and a tinge of alcohol shining through. Not completely balanced but nevertheless a likeable and tasty brew. 14.XI.10
