Bottle, sold as Goudsch Kuijt. Orange blonde color. Lemon and a hint of mandarin in the somewhat vinous aroma. Malty, flowery, slightly hoppy and earthy flavor. Hoppy, earthy citric aftertaste. Nice fruity ale. Earlier Rating: 1/12/2005 Total Score: 3.7 Borefts Blond 75 cl bottle, bought at the brewery. 6,5% and 40 EBU on the label. Bottled november ’04. Orange color in stead of blonde, frothy head. Hoppy aroma with just a hint of citrus and a soft floweriness. A firm bitterness in the flavor, eased down somewhat by a soft creaminess. Malty sweet flavor with orange, hops, flowers, and again: ginger. Lovely beer, not without complexity.

33 cl. bottle split - thx. to Dylan / Kraddel - hazy orange amber with tad off-white head - smell is caramel, rather sweet, esters, tad oxidized, caramel toffee, touch fruits but all of this clearly affected by age, bit oxidized broken down. Taste of bitter esters, old cornflakes - Belgian style yeast, sweet due to aged, dusty caramel apples, toffee, oxidized, lightly moldy, herb, ester, spice finished - tad oxidized body - no idea as to age but it is not all that fresh anymore I suppose - not supper easy to judge how it was fresh but no fresh samples are out there or likely to be made again - cover is pretty - cost and this is probably the reason as to why they use the minimalist labels

Cloudy amber beer, big suddy white head. An unexpected gusher. Light dry palate, a little crisp. Honey sweet malt with a trace of soap. Trace of hop. Finishes frothy - infected I suspect!

Bottle at Baran, Bergen. Has hazy orange colour with a big frothy off-white head that never seems to diminish! Like soap. A pretty malty aroma with some spices and nuts. The flavour is sweeter with fruits, malt and some spices. A slick and a bit watery mouth feel. A nice balanced medium bitterness in the end. A bit special this beer, and it sends me in many directions.

33cl from DeMolen biershop. BB 15/01/2013.

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Golden, light orange colored beer. Pretty nice smell and taste but it has too much carbonation for me which also influences the taste.
