Cerveza Rosanna

Here is a beer available only once a year and has been for a few years. No one in the Seattle RB community seems to have cared, until I showed up. Of course, Cinco de mayo this year has to happen when the Alaskan viaduct is closed for construction. That makes getting to Pike Place ar 5 o’clock super tough. Once you get here parking is even tougher. The things I do for beer. I was fortunate enough to find a 30 minute metered spot just 3 blocks away, so no putzing around. Cask was tapped at 11, drinking it at 5:20. Some light lacing, mild carbonation, room temperature. A dark honey color, clear beer. Durst sniff, you get some pepper. Flavor bursts with pepper, which sticks around. Very mild burn is present after a few sips. The underneath beer is boring but at least it doesn’t get in the way. Love the pepper, can be more burny. Could use a cleaner base beer but overall fantastico.
