Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. My farewell to Belgium for a while beer. Pale orange colour, slightly hazy, massive white shiny bubbly head. Aroma is a fruit bowl, lots of citrus, grapefruit, white wine, bit of funk, bit sour cream, something herbal, and some woody mustiness. Taste is beautiful, fruity and sour, flatly creamy with something herbal, bit vinous. Increasingly sour and tart but mellows towards the end. Quite spritzy in the mouth and texture seems to be at the same time soft and spiky. Lovely beer! --- Beer merged from original tick of Wadesda #1 on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 10 | Texture - 10 | Overall - 9.
