Bottle at Oakes' Manor
Dark brown colour. Mild aroma of bread and chocolate, light mushroom. Light body for the style, some chocolate flavour, rye, a bit earthy, no cherries.
Not bad.

22oz @ Josh's place. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: herbal, fruity, and roasted malt notes. Taste: along the same lines, kind of spicy. Overall: meh.

Dark brown. Thin head. On the nose there's some chocolate and cherry, and that's good. On the palate, it's thin, I mean similar flavour notes but without the sugars and body to really make it sing.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle tart cherry skins, with light roasted malt. Flavour is not so fruity, with light-medium roasted malt, earthy notes, and a bit of cherry. A bit muted and lacking precision, but it's pleasant enough.
