310ml bottle. (New region 293, including 6 from brazil). alez mocno bezowo oleista piana, sliczna a jak oblepia i barwi na zolto szklo, ze chyba trzebabedzie z pol litra morning fresha zuzyc by to zmyc:) barwa oczywista ciemna niczym maseczki 4f noszone podczas falszywej pandemi. pieknie palone ziarna, pachnie szlachetna wysokogorska kawa, w smaku kawa, kawa i espresso, double espresso, mocno palone, mocno gorzkie wytrawne, w posmaku jakby marchewka gotowana na parze, plus jakies orzechy, kakao, ciemna czekolada wawela, minimum 85% zawartosci masy kakaowej.

Bottled, from Beerdome. Black, small dark brown head. Rich aroma of espresso. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Espresso and dark chocolate, burnt bread. Warming finish. Solid stuff.

0,31l bottle from Hoptimaal online store. Bottle says F.09/19, L 13. Black beer with very small brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma has roasted malts, burnt coffee and caramel with some chocolate and small licorice notes. Flavor has quite much burnt coffee, ashes, roasted malts, caramel, licorice and somehow drier bitter and hoppy, coffeeish end. Decent, but nothing remarkable. Normal version was better.

310ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Relatively weak, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, initially hints of coffee and dark chocolate; later ever more predominated by coffee flavours. Taste is bitter, resinous hoppy and bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, some dark chocolate, a dry, roasty, almost ashy touch of burnt coffee; lingering, dry, roasty finish with coffee and mocha notes, some warming alcohol. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying, simultaneously slightly dry, minimally metallic-repellent palate, medium, soft carbonation. Not really a late bloomer, but the coffee flavours need some time (and temperature) to develop to full grandeur. Way better than the Coconut Edition.

Pitch-black pour with a beautiful tan head. Huge coffee notes up front, both roasted coffee as well as cold-brewed coffee, on top of a super roast-forward imperial stout, with additional notes of ash, dark chocolate, subtle bitter cherries. Solid imperial stout, right up my alley.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Lieke van de Ven. Het is een donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. De geur is gebrande koffie en chocolade. De smaak is koffie achtig en gebrand.
