Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Picking up plenty of coffee but the coconut is subtle. Notes of mocha, chocolate. Medium sweet and moderate bitter. Not nearly enough coconut in this one, but the base Stout is really nice.

Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Black with a tiny dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and light coconut. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily, soft and smooth. 250621
Completely flat, no head. Coconut and chocolate on the nose. Oily, sweet, roasty, lots of coconut, coffee, some milk chocolate. A bit of an alcohol bite. Very nice.

310ml bottle. Jet black colour, no head. Roasty dark malty and nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, coconut, toasted coconut. Taste is nutty, roasty, slightly chocolately dark malty, lots of booze, notes of coconut, toasted coconut, a touch of dark chocolate and burnt coffee. Slightly viscous, but somehow surprisingly watery (or better alcohol-diluted) texture, smooth, soft, slightly cloying palate, soft carbonation; lingering, warming, alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic for rather mediocre outcome, neither overly rich nor deep or subtle; and as I am not a great fan of coconut - not my cup of tea.

Pitch black pour with a short-lived dark espresso head. Notes of coconut, dark roasted malt, smoke, bitter cherries, a bit of roasted coffee. Another nice Abyssal, a bit more unbalanced than the coffee version, but quite enjoyable.

Flesje gedeeld door Keukenman, gedeeld met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van koffie en chocolade. Smaak van koffie en chocolade.

Fles gedeelt door Keukeman, geprobeerd met Inoven en Benzai. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, en cocos achtig.

Black with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have limited coconut but also some even sweeter spicier, woody notes.
