“Lech Premium“, Flasche (50 cl) von Edeka, Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, klar. - Nase wie bei einem Industriebier leicht muffig und schwefelig-herb. - Antrunk weich und süßsäuerlich hellmalzig. Fruchtige Noten, die recht künstlich wirken. Leicht ranzige Hopfenherbe mit metallischen Anklängen. Etwas milder rezent. Im Abgang matte, ranzige Herbe. - Ganz gewöhnliche Industrieplörre mit üblen Fehlaromen, etwas süßer als entsprechende deutsche Erzeugnisse, was die Sache aber nicht besser macht.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'REWE', best before January 2019. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, minimally grassy-spicy aroma of grains and traces of straw. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, a little grassy-spicy taste of grains with a touch of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very neutral.

500ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that laces. Faint skunky aroma of bready malt and grain. Sweet flavour of bready malt, corn, straw and metal in a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Below average, nothing Premium about this Lager.
