Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big orange, pear, apple, apricot, lemon zest, clove, pepper, light bubblegum, bread, honey, herbal, floral, grass, straw, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of big fruity/spicy yeast, malt, and hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big orange, pear, apricot, apple, lemon zest, clove, pepper, light bubblegum, honey, bread, herbal, floral, grass, straw, and yeast earthiness. Big earthy/spicy yeast flavors on the finish; with lingering notes of orange, pear, apricot, apple, lemon zest, clove, pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, straw, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity and balance of big fruity/spicy yeast esters with moderate malt and hop flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic saison! All around awesome balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, malt, and hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A highly enjoyable offering.
