Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours clear golden with medium white head that dissapated. Some lacing, medium body, and low carbonation. Taste is light malt and a hint of alcohol. May have made me sick to my stomach.

Bought a 12-pack of this (as it does not come in a 6-pack) but they should make it in single cans. Pours a rich golden colour with a white frothy head that stays a while and leaves dirty lacing. The carbonation is pretty slow... so not looking too bad. Says it is "ice brewed" on the front label. Corn and alcohol makes the aroma, but nothing too strong. Was expecting the normal macro chemical nose, but no. Typical macro mouthfeel... nothing special here. Again, corn for the taste with a mild alcohol finish, but no burn. Not a bad malt liquor, but 12-pack is way to many to try this beast.

Overall Impression: Taste isn't so great here, its got a decent ABV, and you can drink it quickly and easily, but any more exciting goal then that and you'll be disappointed.

Crystal clear pale golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of funky cardboard, stale malt and old hops - not great! Medium to Light-bodied; Strong maltiness up front with cardboard also strong. Overall, not such a good beer - but really, not that horrible - Alcohol isn’t noticeable at all. It was good to try...I never had it in all my years in Rochester, New York. Thanks Andy for giving me this bottle to sample. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle on 23-June-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a clear yellow with wispy white head. The aroma has an indescribably toxic odor and stick sweetness. The taste is much the same as the aroma with corn, chemicals, sweet candy sugar sweetness. Not a good experience.

Can. Sweet malt and alcohol aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Strange syrupy sweet malt flavor - twinge of alcohol fusels. A very good malt liquor but mediocre overall. A better choice than any US macro malt liquor.

Molson’s xxx malt liquor in a 12 oz twist off brown bottle. Twist off the cap and you get a slight skunk vegetable aroma. Poured in the glass it has a smell that is a little more beerylike. No description needed. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color and perhaps just a little darker. Not as dark as yuengling. An eighth inch circle of bubbles hugs the inside wall of the glass. The first taste is not as offensive as I was expecting, seems they took great care to make sure the alcohol is not in your face. Medium carbonation, maybe a little less than medium. After a few drinks, that malt liquor closed mindedness begins to set in. Pretty smooth for a malt liquor, I am pleasantly surprised. Almost as smooth as 7 of 9. That ol’ alky flavor keeps pushing to the front; like a malt liquor, like a barleywine or like any other strong ale. The finish is just like any other less refined high alky content beer, acrid linger for a short time. However, I’ve got to give points for trying to make a malt liquor a little more palatable. The better malt liquor of the five Ive tasted so far.

Ive had this from can and bottle....i prefer slammin it out of the 25 oz can..preferably in a brown sack!...If its ice cold, you don’t taste the alcohol burn..heavy lager like taste..nothing really to it but a quick buzzzzzz....drink on...:)..gotta luv that effect...

Saw the big oil can for the first time in Indianapolis, had to pick it up. Amazingly, the first Molson product I’ve had in years; glad I got some Unibroues under my belt to represent Quebec first. Canadian malt liquor, yum. Actually, it pours a somewhat golden yellow vs. the nearly clear of most ghetto blasters. Huge rocky head that quickly dwindles to a thin coat. Smell of corn sweetener from across the table. Taste continues the theme, and I start getting all Forrest Gumpy: "Corn dogs… Corn chips… Corn holes; they’s like donut holes… and Corn beer." But then there is a minimal amount of malt, and some generic hop bitterness, which helps ease the burn of alcohol. That doesn’t make it great, but it is interesting, and saves it from a swill rating. Just barely. I’ll sleep well tonight!
