(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly buttery cara-malty aroma with slightly woody and subtle fruity hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry malty base with notes of caramel, ginger spice and woody and herbal hops; dry and moderately bitter finish with balanced notes of cara-malt and mainly herbal hops, accompanied by fruity undertones. Nice one. 08.IV.12

Cask. Copper colour with a minor off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, herbs, some maltyness as well as mild alcohol like sweetness. Flavour is similar in a pleasant balance.

Bottled 500ml. -from Biererei, Vienna. Dark orange/golden coloured, small white head that went away slowly, malty nose. Moderate malty, fruity and caramel with touch of nutty spicyness in the finish. Pretty good.

500ml bottle, thanks to Elisabeth for sharing. Clear, copper coloured body. One-finger thick, off-white head. Caramel malts in aroma added by dark leafy hops. Fine blended taste of resinous hops and caramel malts. Nice bitter endnotes. Medium bodied. Likable British bitter (Tromsø, 22.08.2011).

15/08 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured copper body with smaller head. Caramel and brown sugar aroma, not too glaring. Fine flavor, slightly bitter, herbal and black tea, balanced with sweetish biscuity malts. Medium bodied with sweetish caramel and herbal finish. Relatively simple, though elegant, but its nothing special and easily forgettable.

Another one of ogivlado’s (thanks!) Poured a shiny full amber body, small thick white head. Creamy amalty nose, vaguely fruity. Bitterish fruity and tea-like taste, hop-driven but light, strong grapeseed, the malty background is soft and light. I like this, subdued but nice. Soundtrack for the rate: QOTSA - Go With The Flow. Why it was noted, other than the fact that it’s a great song, I really don’t know.
