Ever since 1818, we have brewed our bottom-fermented Oktoberfest Bier during Oktoberfest – Germany’s favorite Oktoberfest beer and a true institution in Munich. The glass is full of October sunshine, strong and golden. The perfect balance of a light taste of hops and a strong note of malt. A feast of a beer, which always goes down well. This beer is only brewed for the Oktoberfest. That’s where it belongs, along with all the fun of the fair like the Ferris wheel and roasted almonds.

Time capsule beer with events today as I drink this golden coloured brew including a Gaza aid ship apparently attacked off the coast of Malta. Reform party upset the duopoly in UK local elections and Germany's second largest parliamentary party declared a right-wing extremist organisation by the country's own intelligence agency. This Oktoberfest effort is from the latter mentioned country and is an interesting ale-like beer - hoppy, good yeasts in both aroma and taste, good body.

1L can. Better than the first marzen style I tried from Paulaner. Amber in color, decent head but disappears quickly. Typical malty Oktoberfest taste and aroma. Not bad.

0.5 l bottle. Clear golden, thin white head. Nose is sweet grains and so is the taste with slight metallic notes. Short sweet finish, light body, average carbo.

12.06.2024 Aromat raczej słodowy Złociste klarowne, biała piana Smak słodowy opiekany, z lekką goryczką chmielowa Nagazowanie średnie, kremowe, średnio lekkie. Ogólnie to przedstawiciele stylu więc trudno mówić ze nie jest w stylu, lepsza od lagerów komercyjnych dobry lager słodowy.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweet grainy malts with notes of honey, apple and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a medium body. On the sweet side and a bit musty overall, unremarkable but drinkable Festbier.

Аромат солодовый, с ноткой алкоголя и цветочности. Цвет красивый, золотистый с белой пенкой. Вкус средний, солодовый, немного приторный. Послевкусие умеренное, солодовое с легким хмелевым оттенком.

330ml panda from LCB. Cloudy gold with thin white top. Grainy malt aroma with light brown bread, some sweetness. Taste of mango, citrus, pineapple, with some floral hopping. Moderate carbonation, decent bitterness. Its ok.
