Cloudy gold. Beautiful white head. Aroma: white bread, pronounced fruitiness, spicy yeast, distant banana. Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Taste: medium dry, fairly fruity (mostly apple), bready, spicy. Not much banana. Light bitterness. This weizen is a one to remember. Good.

Light colored, just a bit hazy. Grapes and chalk in the aroma. Fruity flavor (grapes and banana) with a touch of herbs. Thin, with the slightest hint of vinegar. Thirst quencher without too much depth. I see that some ratings are quite high. Maybe travelling in a overheated car from Schlüsselfeld to Twente hurt this beer.

Bottle @ Alter Fritz, Nürnberg. Pouts cloudy dark straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, banana and yeast. Seeetish flavour of the same ingredients, with bitter notes of hops and sourish, grainy touches. Estery and hoppy aftertaste. Well-balanced, satiating and very decent for the style. A good Hefeweizen.

Bottle from Edeka, Rothenburg. Best before: 6/12/18. Hazy yellow with a quickly thinning, white head. Aroma of ripe banana, bubblegum almost, yellow apple, white bread, yeast, apple cake, honey, wheat. Taste is medium fruity sweet, quite estery, banana & apple cake on a bready malty base, faint sugar & bubblegum, balanced by a sour touch of wheat & lemon, and a light spicy bitterness, bringing clove & white pepper. Dryish, bit grassy hoppy finish, spicy, lingering esters, cake. Medium body, slick to watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Rather cliché but it goes down well.
