Beim Geruch dominieren Kakao sowie Karamellaromen. Der Duft bestimmt angenehm das Geschmackserlebnis und verbindet sich mit Bananen- und Mangoaromen sowie einem Hauch von Muskat und Vanille zu einem vollmundigen, süffigen Weissbiergenuss mit kräftiger Schaumstruktur.

Bottle from GBBF 2017 and drunk at home. Dark brown beer lasting tan head. Some light esters. Some lemon .light chocolate. A touch of bitter lemon on aroma. Ok in mouth .if anything lacking a little character. Milk chocolate comes through. Ok.

Thank you BuckeyeBoy! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). BBF 01/06/17. Dark amber, creamy tanned head. Nose is bitter herbal leaves, roast, bay leaf, thicker dark lager body, herbal. Taste is bitter herbal leaves, bit metallic, sugary, faint coca-cola, too metallic, roast, big kitchen spices, brown banana. Basic sweet metallic kitchen spices. Expected worse, crude, sweet spice but but it manages.

Bit cloudy reddish brown beer, small irregular creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. aroma: yeast, malty, grains, lots of cow fodder, sweet, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, sweet, cow fodder, hay, barn yard. Aftertaste: malty, grains, cow fodder, meh.

0.5l bottle (as bayerische bierprobe) in marktkauf/edeka. pours a cloudy dark brown with a big dense off-white head. aroma of smoke, bacon, not so much banana. flavour of apples, wood, bacon. a kind of rauchweizen?

Dark black with frothy beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some yeasts, well balanced but not intense. Taste is chocolate bittersweetness, and some slight sour yeasty stuff. Finish of more chocolate, nice averagely smooth mouthfeel. Nice!

Pours brown with a big foamy head that slowly dissipates. Aroma is bread, nuts, lots of tobacco smoke, and a tinge of apple. Taste is rich caramel malt, with hints of chocolate, and has a smokey character to it. All of it set atop a bready, Weizen background. Finish is pleasantly bittersweet. Body is medium, a bit chewy, well carbonated. Sehr süffig. Goes in a different direction than most dark wheat beers and does not fail. Excellent. 06/17 upped by .3 to 4.0

Brown color, light beige head with good retention. Aroma is toasty with light notes of banana. Flavor is slightly sweet, toasty, some toffe and spicy hints. Good maltiness on palate with toasty mouthfeel. Some watery final.
