Appearance: cloudy pale amber with a large off-white fizzy head of low to medium retention. Aroma: crackers, toast, fermented apples, light funk. Taste: light sweet, sourish, low to light bitterness. Crackers, fermented apples, light funk. Distant hop. Mouth feel: medium body, broken carbonation. Overall: run-of-the-mill as for Belgian ales.

0.75l bottle shared with Ogi, Vran & someone. Murky amber-orange body, off-white head. Estery aroma, lovely peachy notes, some spicy yeastiness, light flowery touches. Hm... why 2.99? Ah, the taste reveals why, kinda. Empty, overcarbonated taste with light esters, light spicy herbal phenols. That's just about it. Not bad, not great.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Feb 2022) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, candy sugar, bread, apples and spices. Malty taste with caramel, candy sugar, dried fruit, pineapple, bread and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Slightly metallic. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly generic, but quite tasty. Quite nice.

0,75 litre bottle. Aroma has hops and some caramel. Sweetish hopbitter flavor with caramel and toffee. Just a bit thin, but a good lacing. Recommended. Re-rate:sampled both at the brewery tap and at De Gouden Leeuw St Lievens Houtem. The brewery (free) sample sufferd a bit from diacetyl. The S.L.H.-one had a beautiful hop character and a refreshing citric flavor. Grapefruit aftertaste.

Bottle from a Carrefour in Ninove (I presume). Pours hazy light amber with a quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of almond, caramel, brioche, green apple, cake, tea leaves. Taste is medium fruity sour, unripe apple, yeasty, a bit funky, sweetish caramel in the back, some nuts. Dryish, faintly grassy & herbal hoppy finish, lingering unripe fruit & caramel but never dominantly sweet. Light to medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Easy drinker, to be preferred over any industrial Pale Lager.
