Great aroma but flavour somewhat underwhelming.

Bottle from The Trembling Madness. Pours a hazy orange colour with a large throthy white head. Aromas of wheat, bananas, cloves and doughy bread. Taste has more of the same with added peppery spice. Thinnish body, a fair amount of carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad but a bit watery and an abrupt finish. For me the Ayinger Urweisse is far superior.

Large tight white foamy head left a creamy head on a cloudy vivid amber coloured body. Banana, stone fruit & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a nicely carbonated clean back. Fruity, banana, spiced & stone fruit tastes with a tangy lightly hopped finish. Standard stuff

Dark golden, huge head, lingers. Sourish, almost lactic with bread, yeast, grain and a hint of pepper. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

* Rating overgezet 2017 * Het is een oranjekleurig bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het aroma is gistachtig met tonen van banaan. De smaak is zoet, gistachtig en wat fris.

Das einzige Erdinger Bier, dass es in der dicken Euroflasche gibt. Etwas dunkler als das Standard Erdinger Weizen, geht aber noch als helles Weißbier durch. Gekochte Früchte sind ein bestimmender Faktor beim Geschmack. Außerdem eine recht malzige Note. Süßer und weit weniger herb als das Standard Erdinger Weizen. Nach dem kräftigen Antrunk, könnte es etwas intensiver sein. Trotzdem ein sehr brauchbares Industrieweißbier.

Amber colour, large frothy head that stays long. Aroma is flour, lemon, banana. Light bitterness. Lively carbonation, creamy texture. Good.
