Bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Pours very hazy orangish golden with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves some lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet and hoppy with resinous wood, bread, grapefruit juice, orange peal, unripe mango, plums, dry soil, tobacco, alcohol, dark grapes and crackers. Taste is sweet and quite bitter with resinous wood, crackers, dry soil, tobacco, unripe mango, unripe pineapple, cedar, pine, fresh grass, orange peal, alcohol and bread. Mouthfeel is smooth, round, oily bitter and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with bread, resinous wood, pine, fresh grass, dry soil and hints of dry tobacco.

Golden amber colour, off white head. Quite hoppy, light sickly aroma, overripe fruit. Bitter hoppy flavour, light sweet malts, loads of American hops. Finish American hops, light honey.

Bottle sample @ 2nd RBBSG, August 11th 2012. Courtesy of Travlr.

11/VIII/2012 -bomber bottle @ RBBSG - (2012-898) Thanks to Travlr for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy orange beer, with some chunks floating around under a small off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, sweet malts, sugary, pineapple, some mango. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: piny bitter hops, some grapefruit, fruity, some pineapple, sweet malty undertone, even some honey (probably age?). Aftertaste: very bitter, piny, some grapefruit, very dry ending with still some sweetness coming through.

Bomber from Rick’s Wine & Gourmet. Pours a hazy amber with tiny particulates. Medium sized frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of resin, floral, citrus hops with a faint tropical touch as well. The taste is herbal and citrus hops, tangerine particularly, with a bitter finish and faint malts. Medium bodied.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Norm's, 4/9/12
Aroma: The nose has some resin and pine hops, with grapefruit, and orange too
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a white head that leaves light-medium lacing
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter, but I found it to be somewhat lacking
Palate: The body of this one is medium, and it has a lightly astringent and rather dry finish to it
Overall Impression: This is a decent one overall, but I just felt like it was missing something. The nose lead me to believe I'd get a decent pine or citrus hop presence in the flavor, but I just got the light sweetness and later bitterness without any of the aromatic flavors that the nose promised. It still worked decently, and wasn't a bad beer by any stretch, but it wasn't a top of style offering either.
