Botle from EricAndersNavy, thanks! Dark brown color. Caramel, lemon and vinegary notes in the aroma. Sour flavor with lemon, caramel, speculaas, milk chocolate. Thin to medium bodied, sharp in the mouth. Good. Interesting certainly, pleasant even, but world class?

Bottle shared with drowland et al at Kickbacks. Slow gusher! It pours cloudy deep red-brown with a thick beige head. The nose is dank wood, tanginess, red grape, red wine vinegar, candy, mustiness, mould and leather. The taste is earthy, vinous, red grape, tangy cherry, bitter-sweet aspect, red wine vinegar, leather and wet leaf. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Perhaps a bit too much vinegar aspect, but a solid tangy sour ale nonetheless.
