Introduced in 2008 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Bush Caractère, this Triple is based on the Bush Caractère that is then re-fermented in 75cl bottles.
The in-bottle re-fermentation produces an extraordinarily gentle and rounded beer with a natural yeast cloud. It has the characteristic taste and aromas of the Bush Caractère mother beer. Both the splendid screen-printed bottle and the champagne-style cork contribute to Bush Caractère Refermentée prestigious image.

Bouteille(0.75 l):Copper coloured, lots of floaties visible, small off-white head, vinous-fruity nose with aromas of caramel and alcohol; moderate to solid sweet flavour, supported by light bitterness, quite full bodied; lingering caramelly and fruity finish with a warming alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Not bad, but not my cup of tea…

Bottle from ABC Beers. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is caramel, sweet fruit and yeast. The flavour is medium to stong bitter with a burning alcoholic liqourice, chewy toffee palate and a long alcoholic bitter finish. The first few mouthfulls were nice, but this is one to share. Given the ABV I struggled to drink the whole bottle.

330 ml bottle. Aroma is very sweet and malty with dried fruit tones, candied fruit, light spice and soft flowery notes atop the alcohol. Taste is also rather sweet with big candy notes, ripe fruit, tropical fruit notes and caramel. Body is medium with an average carbonation and texture. After drinking most of this brewery’s lineup (all tonight) I have to say this is the most boring. Not bad in anyway just real standard.

Amber colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, green banana, brown sugar. Very sweet flavour, light malts, hint of bitterness, very alcoholic. Sweet cloying finish, alcohol. Decent, but much to sweet for my personal liking)

(Bottle, as "Scaldis Refermentée") Golden amber colour with brief, foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, peaches, almonds, orange peel, apple juice, esters and treacle. Fruity, malty taste with dried apricots, orange, almonds, marzipan, orange marmalade, brown sugar, caramel and a generous spicy bitterness in a finish with a certain alcohol glow. Almost full body, quite sweet. Sweetness is quite well balanced by the malt and the earthy, spicy bitterness. Very nice.

Apple, peach, and lemon zest nose, not strong. Clear orange, fine floaties, thick head. Overripe peaches with a delightful meringue finish. Almost minty in the finish. Full body. A little warm, but it works as this drinks more like a tripel than an amber anyway.
