Bottle, at Patricks Pub, Kristiansand. It’s a hazy, orange to golden beer with a dense, small, off-white head leaving some lacings. Citrusy, piney nose, obviously malty, but the hops win without doubt. The flavor is on the hoppy side too, with the malt only acting as a foundation. Citrusy, piney and slightly floral, with some resin. Lovely bitterness. Full-bodied and almost astringently bitter. Long resiny finish with a good bitterness. A sip-able beer, more than a drinkable one, very flavorful. (090312)

33cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Highly anticipated. Pours a handsome orange golden with a lasting white head and lacings. Floral , citrus and grapefruity hoppy nose. Taste is likewise. Smooth, mega crisp, hoppy and dry. Very enjoyable and quaffable for sure!

Huge offwhite coarseish head. Deep amber body with vigourous carbonation. Minty old socks and tropical citric fruit aroma with barnyard notes. Dry-sweetish peppery fruity barnyard taste with metallic notes. Fizzy, chalky mouthfeel. Thin-bodied. Sharpish. Dry orangey peppery barnyard aftertaste lingers forever. Nice. (0.33l bottle, Olympen.)

Bottle. Orange color. Tangerine, red berries and chalk in the aroma. Initial milky character flows into a firm earthy, yeasty hopbitterness with notes of pineapple, banana, melon and citrus. Yeasty aftertaste. Bottle. Best until dec 11, tasted feb 13. Dark amber color. Peach, oily hops and citrus in the aroma. Oily citric hopbitter flavor with peach and grapefruit. Earthy hopbitter finish. Still a good beer.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.9%. Deep golden to orange colour, big and lasting off-white head. Lovely aroma of Cascade hops, with the typical grapefruity and pney notes. The flavour is again typical Cascade (in plentiful quantities) from start to finish, lots of grapefruit, pine needles and resin. A nearly Campari-like (wormwood) bitterness in the finish. Some malty sweetness does its best to balance some of the hoppiness. Has enough hops to satisfy hardcore hopheads - I would have been satisfied with less, even though I love Cascade.

Amber color; big head. Nice hoppy aroma, fruity, with sweat and paper, camomile. Caramel flavor, a bit mellower than the Warrior tasted side-to-side, with less resins, a bit floreal. In the final it reminds me some rubharb candies, strong bitterness, long, warming, more complex. Very pleasant.

(Draught at Örsted Ölbar, Copenhagen, 12 Feb 2009) Dark amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of caramel and heavy aromas of hops, grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, malty taste with grapefruit, black-currant, pine needles and a long, resinous finish with lots of bitterness. Fairly well balanced sweetness. A bit one-dimensional, but a lovely litte Cascade monster it is.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Orange colour. Exstremely powerfull hoppy aroma. Bitter orange notes dominating. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter almost harsh finish. Creamy palate.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy to hazy orange with a huge off-white to light orange head. Dense dry orange and grapefruit hops aroma with a solid malt note. Subdued sweetness and a solid grapefruit hops flavour. Quite dry in the following seconds after the initial sip. Quite dry and somewhat sticky oily hops finish. A bit rough and almost brutal one dimensional bitterness. Cascade hops are tasty - but this is a bit too strong and thick hoppy.
