BBE 23/12/11, fresh copperbrown beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is fruitfull, grapefruits, fructose sweetness and also weird chaulk. Taste is very similar than aroma, grapefruits, some fruitness, pine needles, and also weird dry chaulkness, medium bitterness. Nice and slippery to drink. This beer not convinced me totally, even Cascade is one of my favourite hop, should we simplify things and state that one hop is not enough?

bottle from Bierkompass. Hazy maber colour, large off-white head. Tropical fruits in the very hoppy nose. Full-bodied, bitter-sweet with lots of citrusy fruits that also have a touch of tropical fruit, perhaps ananas. Very nice indeed.

11.2oz bottle-thanks decaturstevo for picking out-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, 2nd tea/herbal hops. Taste is tea/herbal hops with some bite, balanced with medium malt-caramel.

[9/27/10] Bottle at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Clear reddish amber with a n off-white head. Aroma of floral hops with lots of grapefruits and some caramelly hints. Sweetish biscuity, slightly caramelly flavor at first, turns into big citric hop bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Nice.

Grapefruits and caramel jump from the nose. Smells like a typical PNW IPA, it tastes like a well balanced PNW IPA. But I just can’t get why this is so special, why charge a higher price, why bother ultimately?? Not bad by any strech, but nothing that would entice me to order again

Bottle. Dark amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is very well hopped and the flavour is bitter and well hopped. Overall a nice well hopped beer.

Bottle from Sam’s Quick Stop on 08/15/2010. Bottle code 23/12/11. Fairly clear copper body with a small frothy off-white head. Floral and light citrus hop aroma with a light caramel background. Dry floral and light citrus hop flavor with light resiny notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Clear amber, an inch of beige head. Aroma has solid caramel with light but distinct citrus, earth and a little pine. Taste has more citrus bite than suggested by the aroma, and lingering pine bitterness at the finish. Straightforward and good. Is this perhaps a little less interesting than some of the others, or is it just that I’ve tried a few?

Flaske 0,33l. Mørk gylden på farge. Høyt kremskum som varer en stund. Herlig fruktaroma. Smaken er som aromaen etterfulgt av en syrlig, fruktig ettersmak. Appelsinpreg hele veien.
