Clear blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, bit adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: mildew, cork, basement, mushrooms, some orange peel, honey, slightly sugary. MF: still quite some carbon, light to medium body. Taste: bit sweet, citrus, candied orange peel, little bitter. Aftertaste: citrus, some orange peel, bit sugary, hint of mildewed cork, bitter hops.

Originally rated December 2005. Bought at the LCBO, part of 4 bottle package with a De Koninck glass. This one pours a pale amber colour with golden highlights. Not much head, nor retention, and a small light touch of lacing. The nose is a nice mix of fruity and caramel malts with notes of bread. Mild bitterness is found in the taste. The fruit is there too, like green apples and apricots, mainly in the finish. Lots of cereals and lightly bodied. Decent blonde, but missing some punch in the mouth.

Too much co2 bubbles in the mouthfeel, kinda ruins the taste. Decent color and smell.

Unclear orange gold color with a white head. Smell malts. Malts in the taste, don’t really like it. Kind of dry and not very good mouthfeel.

bottle@’t Waagstuk: clear golden yellow with a small white head, bit too heavy on the spices with a strong presence of yeast, especially in the nose, tastes heavy of barnyard yeast, fruits; touch citric, medium body, touch above medium carbonation, not a big fan of this one

Fles 33cl thuis. Weinig spannend, wat zoetig en commercieel. Toch ook wat bitterig. (10-2010).

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Fruity notes and very week licorice notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Fresh but not very great.
