Hazed gold color with big poof of white foam, decent rings of lacing. Scent is of juicy and fruity hops blended with a spicy and hay like backbone. Taste follows scent with juicy grapefruit and the backbone is lightly musted and grainy malt, finishes with a light sweetness. Medium bodied, grainy on palate and active carbonation. Solid Belgian IPA which brings some farmhouse qualities.

Bottled 330ml. -from bierkompass.de; Birthday gift from my girlfriend.
What a gusher! Hazy yellow/golden coloured, huge white head, fruity nose. Moderate malty, hoppy and citrusy with pleasant spicy notes. Notes of grapefruit in rather bitter hoppy finish.

Bottle from Utobeer. Very lively pour. Dirty amber in colour, with a massive white head flecked with brown which left unpleasant, scummy lacing down the glass. Cardonation was very fizzy with bits of yeast circulating around. Aroma of citrus hops and sweet malts. Flavour had apricots, some spice and orange hops, with a dryish finish. The appearance was really off-putting.

33cl fresh bottle at home. BB may 1st, 2011, sampled nov 5th 2009. cap came off almost by itself with a huge POP , my hand was forcibly moved up from the bottle by the explosion. not much beer was spilled as i poured quickly, however, with more than half the beer in a glass fluffy head still lavaβs out of the neck of the bottle. I advise the use of napkins, glasses and earplugs when opening this one. Unclear orange with lots of debris of different sizes. very fluffy almost white but offwhite head. nice bitterhoppy aroma, not very strong, but a lot more "american" than your usual belgian beer. A little spicyness too. flavor is floral, spicy, bitterhoppy, as well as a little pine and grapefruity from hops. ends fruity and bitterhoppy. I wouldβve rated it a bit higher if it didnβt almost explode upon opening. Also looks bad with the debris and the fluffy head.

I should have noticed the 2007 vintage and the fact that it was stored at room temperature for almost a year. Shame on me, when will I learn. Un-capped with foam slowly building up and out of the bottle. It poured deep hazy gold with tiny floaties and lumpy off white head. The aroma is full of yeasty spice and then moving into red apples, dark grapes and fully ripe plums. The taste is smooth, soft and well blended with age bringing up notes of dark musty fruit and smooth yeasty spice. By midway a solid note of grapefruit, pulp, orange peel, floral hops and spice come to the surface in a smooth unassuming sort of way. It ends dry with plenty of hop flavor and spices but almost no bitterness.

11.2 ounce bottle from Wine & Beer Westpark in Richmond, VA. The bottle has 2007 printed on it but also says restyled so Iβm rating it here. Pours a hazy peach color with tiny floating particles. Large frothy head with good head retention and lacing. Bready, caramel aroma with strong citrus hops as well as peach and other fruity notes. Taste is bitter citrus hops, some bread. Medium bodied.

Location: 11.2 oz bottle from State Line, 8/25/09
Aroma: Fruity, yeasty, hops, citrus, spice
Appearance: Hazy golden-orange color, I got a gusher, so it had tons of head, fluffy and white
Flavor: Similar flavors to the nose, spice, yeast, hops, nice hoppiness
Palate: Lots of carbonation, medium body, pretty smooth despite the carbonation
Overall Impression: Huge gusher, probably not the best beer to judge off of, but it is the only one I got. I'm sure it is probably a nice beer, and probably not as overly carbonated as this normally, still wasn't bad, but a gusher is a bad way to start.

Pours hazy orange gold into a tulip. Bright white head recedes leaving thin lacing. Dusty apple skin and pear aromas. Thick with caramel and dried fruit cocktail. Lasting euro hop finish. Nice.
