Die sorgfältige Komposition aus Weizenmalz und schonend gerösteten, karamellisierten Spezialmalzen verleiht Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel seine schwarz-rote Mahagonifarbe und seine große Geschmacksvielfalt. Beim Geruch dominiert der malzig-würzige Charakter in harmonischem Einklang mit einer typischen, leicht fruchtigen Weissbiernote, bevor sich im Antrunk ein zartbitterer, vollmundig-würziger Geschmack verschiedenster Malzaromen entfaltet. Diese bestimmen angenehm das weitere Geschmackserlebnis und verbinden sich mit Frucht- und Nelken-Aromen zu einem vollmundigen und süffigen Weissbiergenuss.

T: medium malty base, banana, bready touch, bit roasted tones, spicy, medium carbonation, good for the style may be bit watery but enjoyable.

500 ml bottle into shaker. From Beer Cartel. Pours red/brown with a large head of foam on top. Lots of tiny bubbles stream upwards. Excellent aroma of malt, chocolate cake and a hint of umami. Light body. Taste is lightly spiced with hints of fruit. Lingering finish has hints of clove and liquorice. Touch of dry bitterness late on. Solid Dunkel, easy drinking.

Schöne, volle Malznote. Schokolade, Tiramisu, milde Fruchtnoten (insbesondere ein Hauch Quitte), leichte Röstaromen, ein Anflug von Spekulatius. Interessante, vielschichtige und sehr gefällige Aromatik, die allerdings nicht extrem geschmacksintensiv ausfällt. Trotzdem durchaus vollmundiges Mundgefühl, das allerdings leicht trocken ausläuft. Ein gutes dunkles Weißbier und viel besser als die helle Variante. Ein bisschen mehr Substanz und der Begriff „Weltklasse“ wäre durchaus nicht aus der Luft gegriffen.

(bottle 0,5l from rohlik.cz online shop) Overall: Ok, but nothing special. Aroma: Caramel, wheat malt, banana. Appearance: Cloudy pale brown. Persistent off-white head. Taste: Medium sweet, light sourish, banana, caramel. Palate: Light-medium body. Light astringent finish.

50cl Fles van Jumbo. Zeer waterige Dunkelweizen, wat banaan, tarwe en caramel, weinig diepgang of smaak. Tegenvaller, de gewone Weizen is prima.

Barva tmave medena az hnedo cerna. Pena husta a trvanliva. Vune psenice, mozna trocha karamelu. Chut sladova psenicna, dojezd suchy s troskou karamelu, cokolady, malinko kysely. Celkem bezny dobry suchy psenicnak, karamelu je tam jenom hint, naslepo bych imo nepoznal.
