Taking awesome and doubling it can only be double awesome. It’s math.
This is essentially the 35K recipe doubled. Double roasty, double chocolatey, double creamy, double delicious. Then we decided to make it 2.5X awesome by aging it in Angel’s Envy barrels for a really, really long time. The bourbon and oak flavors perfectly compliment the massive flavors in the double mega imperial milk stout. You don’t swim in this beer, it swims in you!

750 ml bottle, vintage 2016 Black body, with a small, tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, bourbon, coffee, soy sauce, some liquorice. Tastes quite similar, with some more tobacco. Medium, oily mouthfeel, wirh a low carbonation. Finishes medium sweet, medium roasty, with bourbon, chocolate, soy sauce, coconut. Tasty! Very well integrated bourbon barrel, providing another smooth layer. Otherwise greatly balanced between roasty and sweet notes, with some creamy character to it, lovely sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17

75 cl bottle @ FF tasting. Rated on 13.03.2021. Aroma is rather mild with some roastiness and toffee. Also overburnt coffee. Flavour has licorice, chocolate, some saltiness and toffee. Herbal finish with harsh bitterness and rubbery tones. The bottle was almost 2 yeas old - that could be the reason. There's no BBE or bottled info though. Rated on 2021-03-13.
