Clear pale gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft lemon biscuits aroma. Smooth and creamy, lemony and biscuity with a dry and very slightly tart bitter finish.

Bottle bought at M&S, Sandhurst. Slightly opaque copper gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Aroma is malty with spice and citrus and grains. Light-medium medium bitter. Woody. Spice. Develops a tart citrus streak. Underlying soft malts. Light. Slick. Lifted by soda fizzy carbonation..Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasent Gold.

Old rating from 2010 - Pint from the cask at the Old Harker Arms in Chester. Pours golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of lemon, orange, flora, caramel & mild hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Frothy white head on a slowly carbonating pale golden coloured body. Digestive biscuit, malt & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lightly carbonated back & cloying aft. Biscuit, pale malt, sweet fruit & lightly hopped tastes. Lacking in all parts.

Bottle from Waitrose. Golden in colour, with moderate carbonation and a slight, white, head. Stone fruits, some ripe, slightly grainy, malts and a touch of leafy hop. Finish was semi-bitter. So so.
