Hand-pulled pint in The Coronet, a Wetherspoons on Holloway Road, London on 8th Aug 2019. Clean amber pour, white crown. Decent enough blend, some light citrus esters in the nose and a balanced feel to the taste with an equal bite of hops and semi-sweet malts.

Cask handpump at The Three Kings, Hanley Castle, Worcestershire Saturday 17th September 2016 in the company of Mum and Keith First of all let me point out that this was just £2.70 a pint, yes £2.70 a pint in 2016 and it wasn’t the cheapest beer here! We had a couple here. Really good no nonsense golden ale, light fruity flavours tickle the tastebuds, a little floral perhaps a hint of elderflower. Nice steady bitterness, not aggressive, not too assertive just ride for a good supping session beer. Cracking beer, cracking pub. A7 A4 T7 P4 OV14 3.6
