Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Bright amber with a thin white head that left good lacing on the glass; spicy English hop aroma; peppery hop taste from the start with a citrusy body; and a lingering bitter grapefruit finish. An excellent, grown-up, summer bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 28/09/2012. Amber with a slight white head. Light aroma of oranges, cereal malts and a touch of grassy hop. Flavour had solid malts, a touch more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Fine.
