Small light brown bubbly-creamy shortlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is rich and boozy, pecans, roasted grain, chocolate, rye bread, bourbon, toasted maple syrup, vanilla, cough syrup, spices. Taste is sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, toasted maple syrup, chocolate, bourbon, sour-ish roasted grain, oak, cough syrup, coconut, fruit stones, dark malts, raw licorice, dark berries. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is full of bourbon barrels, a touch of maple, and some jammy blueberries. Flavour is rich and complex, with tons of maple syrup and blueberries in wonderful cohesion, with a touch of bourbon in back. The blueberries and maple work really well together. Very good.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Black with small beige head. Chocolate, some blueberry and mild maple, underlying coffee notes, enjoyable.

Dark brown, thin head. Lots of coffee on the nose, light blueberries, with a light acidity to this, good chocolate, light coffee, this comes across quite well balanced. The berry acidity balanced against the rich stout works for me.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, maple, vanilla, brown sugar and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, maple, vanilla and brown sugar finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Held up extremely well. Very very dark black. Fine brown head. Bourbon coffee nose. Thick thick body. Velvety. Dark chocolate. Caramel sweetness. Bourbon. Coffee. Awesome.

Sampled at Ace&Kees. Almost black with small brown head. Huge bourbon, molasses, roasted malts, soft licorice, some spices, vanilla, cookies, light dried stone fruits and cherries. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Thick full bodied.
