La Battin Gambrinus est une bière blonde, de type Pils. Avec sa robe jaune dorée très intense, ornée d’une belle couronne de mousse, cette bière libère de subtils arômes mêlés à de discrets parfums de houblon. En bouche, une exquise douceur de malt se ressent sur la langue. Agréable et douce, la Battin Gambrinus dégage aussi une très légère amertume.

Deep golden with a pillowy white head. Slender body, easy going, softly carbed lager with notes of grain, hay, floral, geraniol and dms paired with buttered popcorn or diacetyl to be precise. Bit too sweet but palatable - short-medium lasting finish.

Draft at the airport bar. Aroma is rich pils malt, honey-ish. Flavor is pretty rich pills background. And sweet very little bitterness. OK for what it is.

500ml can. Drank straight from the can in Place d'Armes, Luxembourg. Euro pilsner aroma. Tastes more like a pale lager versus a pilsner, in my opinion. Regardless, it's clean and smooth and easy to drink. Very straightforward. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. A good regular beer.

It is a regular pils, refreshing, not bad, malt, hop, gold body, regular carbonation, thin and white foam, buying it in one big supermarket, Luxembourg, tasting it, in my hotel room there, a longtime ago.

330ml bottle. Pours a generally clear deep gold, loose bubbly head. Quite a sweet pils, low bitterness, deep caramelised malt, medium bodied. Quite alright.

(Bottle 33 cl) Of course also Luxembourg had to have it´s own beer named after the fabled beer-king "Gambrinus"! Beautiful fully golden colour with the type of head that leaves laces on the glass. Very soft and lightly sweet with this special Luxembourger note that is so hard to describe. Is it the malt? I believe so. 300601 3.1
