La Battin Blanche est une blanche de type Witbier. Désaltérante par excellence, cette bière présente une robe jaune clair légèrement trouble, un voile soyeux et une mousse somptueuse. Douce, moelleuse et légèrement fruitée grâce à ses saveurs d’agrumes et de coriandre, la Battin Blanche est brassée avec un froment de qualité, qui accentue l’harmonie des saveurs.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes strohgelbes Bier mit schöner großen Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, sehr fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack sehr fruchtig mit aromatischen Gewürzen, hefig, spritzig.

Very pale and cloudy in the glass, fine, fluffy head. The nose is witbier-typical tart. The beer starts fuity, whitbier-typical dry. The mainpart is also nice and typical, a little bit grainy, fruity. The coriander appears till the end a bit, is nice balanced. The aftertaste is long, witbier typical, not too long, but ok and very smooth.

33cl Bottle: BBD 25 Mar 2014. Poured into a tumbler in my hotel room, Ste Maxime on the South of France on 12 Sep 2013. Reminded me greatly of Hoegaarden in almost every way: cloudy yellow/orange with a small head, corriander and orange feel to the smell and taste, semi-sour, with refreshing citrus notes throughout. I’m not usually a big fan of this style, but it hit the spot on this occasion. A very nice Witbier, great after a 10 hour drive over the Alps and relaxing swim in the hotel pool.

Hazy milky golden with a big white head. Koriander and citrus aroma. Belgian white taste and mouthfeel. Decent.

Zitroniger und gewürziger Hefeantrunk. Fruchtig, leicht süß. Spritzig, zum Ende etwas künstlich wirkend. Insgesamt rund und gut trinkbar. 11/9/9/9/8/9

Bottled 330ml. -Murky yellow coloured, small creamy white head, distinct coriander nose. Fruity spicy and pleasant coriander taste with slight watery soapy finish. Pleasant but not so complex blanche.
