Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy-smooth head. It’s a smooth hoppy ale that could be sessionable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep amber with a thin lacy head. Nose - oranges and earth. Taste - loads more oranges and quite sweet, a bit like the syrup that goes on ice cream. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that’s not bad but could be fresher. Overall - ok if a bit sweet.

330ml can from a local ASDA Store: poured into an Arrogant Bastard Ale 22oz glass at home on 23rd March 2017. Light amber’ golden body, clean and clear, white head of uneven bubbles. Piney and orangey hops with a caramel maltiness in both the nose and taste. Liked it, easy drinking and heading towards my sweet tooth’s leanings.
