Dark pour with a thin light tan head. Notes of burnt caramel, toffee, dried fruit, whiskey, instant coffee, wood. Smooth, soft texture. Delicious stuff!

0.33 l can from 'Bierloods22', best before January 2025. Clear, dark ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, caramel, raisins, prunes, whisky and traces of wood. Fairly sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of molasses, caramel, raisins, prunes, some tobacco, whisky, some vanilla and a touch of toasted nuts, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, warming, just a bit boozy and a little woody finish. Full body, smooth and creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really good Barley Wine, very well-balanced and complex, perfect barrel-aging and not that boozy. Lovely!

Can. Dark amber pour. Aroma of nice fruity whisky, caramel fudge, vanilla, cherry, raisin, caramelised malt and oak. Taste has boozy caramel fudge, raisin, vanilla, red grape, cherry, oak, caramelised malt, lots of fruity whisky and cake-like flavors. Really nice ba barley wine, rich smooth complex flavors. Delicious.

Dark reddish brown colour with lasting thin head. Aroma has light bourbon sweetness. Flavour has some bitter, burnt malts and coffee at first but the fruity and sweet vanilla of bourbon quickly dominates. Slightly sweet and cakey. Very full flavoured.
