Bottle shared at THT January. Bit hazy dark brown with dark beige head. Sweet malts, lots of caramel and toffee, light spicy. Over medium sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online shop. Dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is molasses, banana. Flavour is dark chocolate, dried fruit, rich toffee. Sticky and lovely

Dark brown colour with a medium frothy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and soft burnt caramel. Taste is cacao, burnt caramel, toffee and burnt brown sugar. Full bodied.

Draught, 9.0% at Brewdog St. Pauli. Clean cocoa powder aroma. Black colour. Very small head. The flavour starts off slightly sweet and ends on a spicy liquorice note.

33cl. Neutral grainy beginning. Not very deep, roasted parts, very dry. Roasted grainy parts. Nice and caramelly in the end.

Bottle at home, about to watch Liverpoo vs Man Shitty - who knew this game was on ? Cmon Leicester !!!! 10/11/19. Black with a well presented lasting tan cap. Nose is sweet malts, light roast, spice, toffee, brown sugars, hint of molasses. Taste comprises dates, brown sugar melt, light spice, booze tunes, molasses, toffee, light cocoa sprinkle. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost. Decent enough easy drinker … does what it says on the tin but perhaps lacking some depth for the ABV.
