Bottle. Well, only one word comes to mind and that is cinnamon. Taste-cinnamon, aroma-cinnamon, even the color is like cinnamon. Now don’t get me wrong. I like cinnamon and I like this beer. But after one, maybe two, I’m ready for somethng else.

Tastes like gingerbread. Which is perfect because it is #kissagingerday. I expect many kisses.

Found at the back of the cupboard. Perfect beer for the middle of a British summer...

[12oz can from the Beer52 selection for January.] An attractive bright copper pour with a thick caramel coloured head; mild cinnamon aroma; sweet malty taste with restrained cinnamon and underlying demerara sugar; but lacking the promised warmth in the finish.

35.5cl can at home on 17th Jan 2019. Poured slowly into a Duvel glass, just to see what it looked like. Ruby hue to the brown body, clear and clean; off-white topping. Cinnamon rules the aroma and taste, fairly sweet and malt based brew all round with a crisp mouthfeel.

Clear dark reddish-amber beer with a head that soon fizzles down to a film. Light smell of malt and spices. Flavour is cinnamon, caramel, dried fruit, malt. It doesn't have the richness I'd like from something with these sort of flavours but the flavours themselves are nice and leave a nice, spiced finish too.
