More of a mantra than a beer, Sippin’ Pretty is our Fruited Sour Ale. Loaded with our unique blend of açai, guava, and elderberry, and balanced with a delicate addition of Himalayan pink sea salt, this beer pops with a bright ruby color and a refreshing tart finish. So sit back, relax, and sip on something pretty.

Can from Smokes n Suds. Pours orange with a pink hue, large off white head. Aroma is ripe with tropical fruits, mainly guava. The guava adds a nice depth to the flavor, mainly tropical fruity sweet and a little bit of salt on the back end. Mildly sour.

12 oz. can, from a Costco 24-pack. Thanks, Stephen! Pours a pretty, hazy, pink color, with a foamy, white head. The aroma is strawberry, pineapple, and unripe blueberry. Not too sweet, and a touch bitter. Light and crisp. Fun, simple sour.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy rosé with a large pinkish tinged head. Aroma of pink guava and salt. Nearly med body. Flavor is mostly ripe pink guava with some salt. Sort of a tropical gose. Dry. Lightly tart/bitter. Extremely pleasing.

Deep, very hazy pink and rose coloured body with a light tan and slighlty pink head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of flowers, tart brett and soured notes with a lot of berries and light acids coming around. Light-bodied; Sharp tart and floral flavours with a lot of strawberries and grass along with a touch of the purely funky yeast and brett characteristics along with a soft sweetness from fructose and a bit of the wheat malts. Aftertaste shows the tart and bretty notes front and centre with a very robust and pure wheat body that has some nice easy-drinking characteristics that are a touch mellow and soft with some more of the fructose and fruits to deal with at the very end. Overall, a soft and very floral finish to a nicely tart and soured beer with some mellow fruit notes which show the berries and apples along with some of the more robust wheat and malt notes which are noticeable still. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Hy-Vee (27th Street) in Lincoln, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$1,67, sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-April-2020.

12 oz. can from Binny's, best by 7/7/20. Dark amber color with plenty of pink. Foamy head at pour that fizzes away in a hurry. Smell is a basic acidulated sour beer with just an edge of fruit, not a big fruit nose, but matches the more delicate fruit profile used. Taste is a zesty tartness, but it is also kind of dry, like it fermented on the fruit instead of being added. I do catch the sea salt that gives this a note of a gose. It's too easy for a sour beer like this to go overboard, but this remains subtle, allowing it to be a bit complex.
