A superb West Coast Style IPA, heavy on the juicy tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Intense tropical fruits and citrus with plenty of fresh pine resin a properly juicy, hoppy beauty

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, just a touch of sweetness and a whisper of grain. Mild hop spice, pine. Orange and orange peel. Mild tangerine. Light finish brings a little grapefruit. Pretty good.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light white grape, tropical fruit. Taste is sweet, a little thin. Missing a punch of hops, but not bad.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, a touch of orange, caramel malty background. Taste delivers similar flavours with some additional lemon, slightly weak caramel malty background, a chalky layer throughout; light and rather watery. Well known Mosaic flavours - sadly a bit too chalky and watery.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [100816]
Amber, frothy white head
Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, sweet caramel, hint of caramelized orange
Taste of bitter zest, sweet caramelized orange fruits, dab of grassy hops, sweet fruty malts
Palate - Medium carb and body, bitter hops but more heavy sweetness. Finish is a bit dry, then some sweet and a touch sugary malt with the bitter hops
Overall - Some decent flavours in this, but over sweet malts in the background - an issue I’ve found with other beers from this brewery
